Because Swan Pool is a public leisure centre (managed by Serco on behalf of AVDC) anyone can play squash on the courts.

However there are benefits to becoming a member of Buckingham Squash Club.
To become a member of Buckingham Squash Club, you will need to complete a Membership form, and send it with your cheque to the Treasurer, whose name and address appear on the form. The form can be displayed by clicking here, and then print it off.

The Treasurer will allocate you a membership number, and will send your details to Swan Pool. Once they have you on their system, you will be able to book your own courts. This process normally takes between 2 and 3 weeks.

However if you are undecided about joining the Club straight away, and while you are waiting for your membership number to arrive, feel free to go down to one of our Club Nights, introduce yourself to everyone, and have a knock with as many players as you can. Ask the people you have played where they think you might fit into the leagues, and then make a note of the names and telephone numbers of those players from the league sheet on the notice board. You will then have an initial list of people to ring for friendly games.

On the Wednesday evening following the end of each league session, the Club will book courts for all those people who have shown an interest in the Club in the previous 5 weeks.

If you have any questions at all about any of the above, please contact either Laurie or Thelma Spragg on 01280 860340, or email us at ....
