Club AGM
The AGM was held on 18th June 2010 at Jill Reynolds' house. Lot's of ideas were discussed, lots of good food and drink were consumed (thanks Jill). The new/old committee decided that the Club would load the minutes of future committee meetings on the web site.

Booking Courts On-Line
Serco has developed some software to allow players to book squash courts on-line and pay by credit card. The committee have been testing this software over the previous 3 months, and decided at the AGM that members should now be able to use this facility themselves. One caveat; members can book courts on-line, but cannot cancel courts on-line. If you wish to cancel a court that you have booked on-line, you will have to contact Swan Pool Reception, who will credit you with another court - they will not give you a cash refund.
To book courts on-line you will need your membership number (e.g. BU99) and credit card details. Then go to -

Buckingham Squash Club is a small friendly club with a range of players of differing standards, from beginners to Team players.

The Club plays at the Swan Pool Leisure Centre in London Road, Buckingham, and the two courts are kept in excellent condition.

The Swan Pool Leisure Centre telephone number is 01280 817500, and this is the number you need to ring to book a court.

The current session's Leagues and the results of the previous session's Leagues are shown in the Monthly Leagues section, and the Team results can be found in the Team Squash section.

Club Nights (all members are welcome)
Monday 6:45pm until 9pm   Cost is £2.35 per head
Saturday 5:15pm until 6:45pm   Cost is £2.35 per head
Use it or lose it
Opponents are chosen on a rota system, and play is restricted to 15 minutes per session.
Members can either play 15 minutes of squash or 15 minutes of racketball in their session.
Club Nights are currently subsidised, and whilst they are sometimes well attended, there are frequently only four or five players using this facility. If it is not used, then it will be assumed that it is not wanted, and one or other (or both) Club Nights will have to be withdrawn.
See you there - and don't forget to bring your £2.35 contribution, payable at Reception.

From 1st September 2009 to 31st August 2010 subscription fees are as follows -
Individual £26.50*
Joint £38.00*
Family £43.00*
Junior   £5.00
Full-time Student   £5.00

Booking & Payment for Courts
Squash Club members can book courts 7 days in advance, while the general public can book only 4 days in advance.
To book a court, either -
(A) telephone Swan Pool on 01280 817500.
      Members have to pay for courts (by credit card) at the time of booking, unless of course you have paid up front for a block booking of 10 court sessions.
(B) go on-line by clicking here.
      Courts have to be paid for by credit card, and you will need your membership number (e.g. BU99).
      Courts cannot be cancelled on-line. Contact Swan Pool Reception who will give you a credit (not a cash refund).
The current prices for booking a squash court can be found by clicking Court Fees.
Swan Pool will charge you the full cost of the court if you cancel less than 48 hours beforehand. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
